Friday!

Stayed up late last night to finish the quilt for the NE Church of the Brethren's parking lot project.   I am glad to finally get it finished... it was interesting doing the research on the different blocks and I loved the way the colors came together.   However, it was one of those projects that gave me fits- with points that didn't always come together right, and blocks that were not the right size, and not enough fabric...

I just hope people are willing to bid on it.....

Cute kiddo conversation this week-
He asked for a "mind-finding glass" to look at the recently hatched praying mantas.   (For those of you who do not speak 4 year-old, that is a magnifying glass!)
